Academic evidence translation
A certified translation converts the document's language into English. It does not determine U.S. degree equivalency, GPA equivalency, accreditation status or educational level. If a receiving institution or attorney requires a credential evaluation, that is a separate service from translation.
Diplomas may be submitted as supporting evidence in employment-based immigration matters and other cases where educational history is relevant. When a foreign-language diploma is submitted to USCIS, it must be accompanied by a complete English translation and the required translator certification.
